"If you really want to act or sing they help you in a fun way!"-Carli J., student
I just wanted to tell you how much my daughter Grace enjoyed class on Saturday. She talked about it all weekend, and told me that she wants to act every day. She had so much fun and can’t wait until this Saturday. She put on a little play for me and her dad about the 3 Little Pigs and we had to be the Wolf and then vice versa. She really got into it. I knew that she’d love it because she’s so dramatic at home, but I had no idea she’d love it this much. Your mom did a great job, and Grace said she really like the other boy in the class as well.-Melissa K., parent
“The
classes are fun, and I like acting!”-Aaron C., student, age 9
“I like acting. You
should add a class about Star Wars!”-Zach C., student, age 6
“I like
the opportunity for creative expression, coupled with the need for teamwork and
completion of a project on a deadline. The lessons learned in acting
classes apply to so much of what the kids will need in life, like flexibility,
working with a deadline, working on a team, problem-solving and finding creative
solutions, as well as multi-tasking - and they had fun learning it!!
Natalie included the children in many of the decisions made for the productions,
and tailored the classes to appeal to the children in each class. I really
appreciate Natalie’s flexibility, and willingness to work with each child
individually, taking advantage of the skills and interests that child has, and
encouraging expansion of other skills.”-Greta C., parent
“Henley had a great time in Wizard of Oz. I am amazed
that such a shy child could perform on stage and enjoy it so much. She
says she is going to Hollywood!”-Stacy M., parent
“I like School of Stars because it's more fun than school.
I like Miss Natalie because she is the best teacher ever and I like the way the
school is decorated with stars on the wall. I love doing the recitals.”-Skylar
Z., student, age 4
“I like School of Stars because I likes to dance and
sing. My favorite dance was the hula dance performed at the last
recital.”-Reese Z., student, age 4
“Miss Natalie Tiehen is a very experienced teacher
and actress. She is such a nice and wonderful teacher. She
will work one-on-one with
you, so you can learn how to act. If you want to learn about acting or know someone who does, I encourage
you to take lessons at
School of Stars and Miss Natalie will be your guide to success!”-Hannah T.,
student, age 10 1/2.
“My girls love School of Stars for many reasons as do I. I have been working with one of my four-year olds to write her name and she just didn't seem to care to try when I was teaching her. However, after "Happy Feet" class one day she was so excited because Miss Natalie taught her to write her name. This program offers so much more than just acting classes or craft projects. It gives the children a sense of accomplishment that they will take with them the rest of their lives.”-Lori Z., parent
